National Centre for Rural Development (NCRD)

     We aim at achieving excellence in education. National Centre for Rural Development (NCRD) trust is registered under Mumbai Public Charitable Trust Act 1950 (Rule 29 of Mumbai Rules 1950) having registration no. F-6557-(Pune) dated 7th March, 1991. The trust is also registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 Rule Registration No. Maharashtra / 5447-91 / (Pune) dated 24th January, 1991.

This trust is founded by an eminent social worker Hon’ble Shri Dilip Walse Patil, in the year 1991 with a vision to educate rural masses of India. Completion of its three decades has resulted into strong commitments toward the nation’s growth. Currently, NCRD is actively educating masses from pre-nursery to post-graduate professional programs.

The sapling which was sown in the year 1991 has rapidly grown into a tree having various institutes in Pune and Navi Mumbai. NCRD started its activity in education in the year 1993 with the establishment of a school in Ambegaon Taluka, Pune district which was a very backward area. In the absence of industry, development was minimal and schools were few and far. The tree is growing further, currently having three Higher Education Institutes, three CBSE Schools, eight State Level Schools and one Working Women’s Hostel, thus serving to the nation in the field of Education.
